The program for our final days is being constantly added to so please
be patient as I'll probably send out updates as more events appear.
Please do come in, collect your possessions asap (within a couple days
all stuff will be taken to the free shop...) and hang out. We close
our doors for the final time on Wednesday 31st, however as we will be
leaving the place clean and tidy the main party night's are Saturday
and Monday.

"The War on Drugs: Time for a Ceasefire?" This film will be showing at
15:00h and followed by a discussion with speakers on the economics of
drug prohibition. As Mexico and Afghanistan (two of the world's

Monday 29th
On Monday we have 2 exciting events.
The first is at 7:30pm, a play written by an occupier, Daisy Duffy.
"The Small Society" explores issues raised by the recent riots in
England, and the government and police response. Its been lots of fun
making it and everybody who's seen us rehearsing so far has enjoyed
it.
At 9pm - Monday night pub quiz.
Three of the original quizmasters from the days of the Hetherington
Research Club will be joining us for the final pub quiz before
builders move in and start tearing the building apart. The pub quiz
was an old HRC institution and has been the most regular and
consistently popular event the re-opened Free Hetherington has held;
this Monday marks the end of an era.
