Hey guys,
I need to have an MRI done & need contact info for NeuroControl on
what is safe. Anybody still have contact with any NeuroControl or
FreeHand Rep's?

Thanks, Toddman

Toddman,
We have the detailed instructions form NeuroControl regarding the use
of MRI. Unfortunately, since NeuroControl doesn't exist any more,
there is no one to ask further questions. However, if the imagining
clinic has a machine that can meet the specs, then you are good to
go. I hope everything is well. I don't think I can attach the file
here, so I'll send it to you by email.

I found this as well.  Best to confirm it with what Kevin sends you, though.

Kevin,
Thanks for the info!

I do have a question after reading it. It says "The function of each
electrode should be tested prior to MRI scanning by "Profiling" each
electrode to ensure no leads are broken. Imaging a patient with a
broken implanted lead may result in excessive heating around the break
in the lead. This potential risk of scanning a patient with a broken
implanted lead would have to be considered on a case-by-case basis
against the benefits of scanning."
How do I verify this?

Thanks,
