Hi Didinson, All

From earlier post:
 4. Does anybody have a Sample ID upload format to share?
Attach some reports, a txt simple report and a intelligent reports in pdf (is possible export in a csv or txt file). These reports have been generated with Chemstation Open Lab B and Chemstation Open Lab C, but in all versions it is possible to make this type of reports.
I was actually looking for an upload format to Chemstation, for the Samples yet to be analysed. We want to produce these files by exporting Worksheets as is done for a few other instruments already.

The (remote) lab reports that
The upload is done manually through a series of prompts specifying the field and column locations for the different data types screen shots

  • This looks like it could be any comma separated CSV, with headers of choice, just start reading at line 2?
In Bika/Senaite terminology
Worksheet ID,    Worksheet Method,    Sample ID,    Analysis remarks,    Worksheet position,    Correction factor
  • It looks like it requires the Data file name in format *.D?  e.g. WS19-089078.D

  • Same for Method file name as *.M, MassSpectrometry.M
  • Where does Chemstation read the file from?

Does it have a standard folder location? It needs to be on the network..

Is it configurable in Chemstation? I  see  C:\msdchem\1\DATA\ in the results exports

We make this configurable as destination in Bika, it should be possible to share a local HD folder on the network. Else, memory sticks:-(

All help hugely appreciated
