Iam trying to figure out how to do this in Analyzer via Beastmode or filter tool. I am trying to only filter/display Orders that contain a product with a UN battery code while still displaying all other items in that Order Number. I'm having a tough time finding a function that could do this. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Null fields can be tricky sometimes with our datasets. We've had to use prompts such as When UN Number = '' and when length('UN Number') (1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

I've never been able to make sense of a PLF file structure so I'm not sure if it'd be possible or not. The issue you'll face is that the Project Code in one Project has an Internal ID, and the same Code in the second project will have a completely different Internal ID and you'll need to be able to identify this value when you modify the PLF file - which I suspect might be a tough one.

Making the Codes EPS level (or global) is your best option, but if this is not possible, then the struggle of recreating the filters each time you copy the project is real. Perhaps your workflow needs to be modfied?

By that I mean rather than taking a copy, and then working in the copy, why not take a copy as snapshot, then continue working in the original project, and if/when you need to revert back to the how it was, you then go back to the copy and rebuild your filters in there.

As you are using Project Level Activity codes, the codes themselves are associated with the specific project they were created in, even if they are named the same. When you copy a project it effectively creates a new set of Project Level Activity Codes, but any filter you've created will continue to reference the original project activity codes (they match against internal Databsae ID's that you can't see) However, as you haven't got the original project open, it cannot find these and therefore your filter conditions are blank. YOu have to redo your filter referencing the new project activity codes, even though they will appear to be the same.

You could try converting the Codes from Activity Level to EPS level and then they can be used across multiple proejcts and you can then use the same filter across all the projects. These codes will only be visible to users who can view projects in that EPS node, so shouldn't cause problems at a global level.

I've setup the filter code pre-requisites in WM Parameters, created the filter codes, and attached 'Customer X' to only buy items that have 'Filter code 1' associated to the Item group. When I try to sell products to other customers, I do not get a stop error. When I check the product, I do not see the filter codes updated either. Is there something I'm missing in relation to using filter codes to restrict what customers buy? I've also followed the steps here: dynamicsaxcompanions.azurewebsites.net/.../Use-Filters-To-Restrict-Sellable-Products-To-Customers .

I was testing this functionality so I was working with one customer and one product. What I meant is that when I go to the Released product details>Warehouse fast tab, under the 'Product filter codes' group I don't see the filter codes applied.

I've got a spreadsheet of 2,500+ addresses with columns including Name, Street Address, City, State, zip code, etc. that cover the entire state of Colorado. But I only want to send the postcards to people near me and I have a list of around 150 zip codes that I'd like to narrow the list to.

So in this case, the country code/prefix is not a seperate Property unto itself- When it shows up in Forms, it's more of a visual aid for entering in the correct country code. If you're working within Lists or Workflows and need to filter out a given country I'd recommend using the Contains Any Of filter, using the appropriate Country Code as a filter (In the following screenshot I've used the Irish code, +353 as an example)

Hi, we are creating alerts under the APM Errors Interface, but we want to just filter the errors with http code 500 or more. The interface doesnt have that option. Do you know any workaround to do this?

I have one final question. I would like to add this filter just for one service. I know that the field is service.name. I've tried adding this value in the tags label but It hasn't worked. Do you know how to add this?

Unfortunately there is a very hard technical problem to solve to enable that. Trace is very expensive and collects a very large amount of log data from every policy in the request/response processing. This is why it's limited to 20.

The trace starts when the request hits Apigee. To support a response status code filter, we would need to trace every single request because we won't know at the point where we need to start collecting the deep details what that request's response status code will be. This would put an enormous load on the system. In fact the very time when something like this would be most helpful, when you are trying to track down a very low occurrence of a specific response status code, is the hardest of all because the trace might need to process many thousands or even tens of thousands of requests before it could catch the one response you're looking for. The load that this put on the system would be very noticeable.

In the meantime, while this is not real-time, I suggest working with custom reports in analytics to post-process the responses. You can use the extensive set of drill downs to dig into the data. You can also add custom statistics collection to store additional specific data that could also help troubleshoot deeper.

but I often find myself in the need to filter by URI Path where (in REST APIs) is the main indication of the resource, operation and mandatory parameters (like a UserId or ResourceId) you often are trying to troubleshoot.

If you look at the new features list for the most recent releases (4.52.00, 4.52.00.01, 4.52.00.02) , the only new features are security/scale features. And I suppose that will continue. In the same timeframe, there have been lots of new features added to Apigee X.

This is not possible at this time. I will suggest you create a request for Enhancement for this (my guess is there may be plans for this in the future). If you only care about this for one service, you can drill down into the dynamic requests for that specific service and add the filter for "HTTP response code" and select specific response code, you will see a text field to to add the specific status code. The downside to this is you have to do this every time and cannot pin to dashboard.

This article describes how to configure product filters and filter codes to categorize inventory items in a warehouse. You can also use filters to specify which customers can order a particular item and which items can be purchased from a particular vendor.

Additionally, you can set up and use product filters to automatically organize inventory items in a warehouse and combine filtered items into filter groups. Filters can be used to put items into categories for handling, purchasing, and selling processes. You might want to group items together or separate them from each other when the way that they are handled is based on weight or handling restrictions. You can also specify which customers or vendors an item can be purchased from or sold to.

Product filters provide up to 10 Filter title characteristics, which are enumeration (enum) values. These enum values are available for selection when you create a product filter. The enum values Code 1 through Code 10 are system-defined and represent a specific characteristic or attribute of an item. For example, Code 1 might represent items that have a hazardous material classification. Code 2 might represent items that only vendors can purchase. Product filters then define the specific Filter code value that is associated with a Filter title value.

In the Description field, enter a name for the code. For example, Code 2 might represent vendors. You can then create a product filter for a specific vendor or group of vendors. For more information, see the Setup vendor filter codes section later in this article.

You can use filter groups to group filter codes. This capability is helpful when a group is used in a query in a location directive, and you want to search for the group instead of a series of codes. Each filter group is associated with an item group.
