Attracted by many useful resources sometimes we are convinced to
download from megaupload.com which requires a spyware installation
called megaupload toolbar.

* Don't install it.

Though megaupload company recommends it is not a spyware, it actually
is. I sends back information from your PC when connect to internet. So
in this behavior it is a spyware.

It slows down the system little bit and uses network resources without
users permission.

Those who are already affected can easily get rid of this. It provide
complete uninstallation of toolbar. Just uninstall and you are clear.

All about Kapersky 7 (less resource consuming)

 2.     Install one key(don't care it was blacklist or not)

 3.     Disable self-defense service

 4.     Disable Kaspersky (KIS or KAV): on the taskbar

 5.     Turn On Patch Kaspersky you've downloaded, select KIS or KAV and leave the Patch

 5.     Turn on KAV or KIS,Enable self-defense service

Kaspersky build 8.0.454.

I am updating virus definitions. All ready 8 hours passed. It has downloaded hundreds of megabytes of updates. For last 4 hours it's showing 99% complete and still downloading.

Any clue?

What about updates in other Kaspersky Versions? Do they take so long?
