Hi,

I'm relatively new to Freeeed. At the moment I'm testing the 4.4.0 version. When I try to process the data locally after the staging phase, I keep on running into the following java error:

2015-04-17 13:53:36 57470 [Thread-2] INFO  org.freeeed.print.OfficePrint  - Init Office Print...
2015-04-17 13:53:36 57472 [Thread-2] INFO  org.freeeed.print.OfficePrint  - Cannot find the default OO home directory...

    at org.freeeed.main.ActionProcessing.run(ActionProcessing.java:47)
    at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

My platform is Win 7 64
I do have OO 4 installed
My Java version is: jdk 1.7.0_76 (64 bit)

Can anyone give me hint how to tackle this?

Thanks, Marcel

Marcel,

here is the paramater you need to set in settings.properties file

open_office_home=... set to the OpenOffice location (such as C\:\\Program Files (x86)\\OpenOffice 4)

In the next version it will not look for OO if it does not need one, so this problem will be easier to tackle.

Thank you,
Mark

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your quick reply. Changed the settings as you suggested, and error disappeared.

Cheers!
