This is an information session regarding the bankruptcy filing for community organizations covering: 

·         the history of how got here

·         the workers directly impacted

·         implications for the broader community that might not be immediately apparent  

 

We will also begin to discuss how to coordinate a united response encouraging the city to prioritize people.

 

The event starts Friday, August 9 at 11 AM and will run until 1 PM.  Lunch will be provided.  The ACLU of Michigan is graciously hosting.  The address is 2966 Woodward Ave.
