There are some groups coming together on this and I think it would be great for Vote VIP Slate / Free Detroit No Consent involvement as well.

Will load wordpress and get that started this week.
the dates are getting finalized for the meetings last week of July...
There will be 5 dates all the last week before the Aug 2nd election.
1. Georgia St. Community Collective - Friday (Locked in), $50.
2. Judge Greg Mathis Center - Wednesday? (Agreed but date is fuzzy), $75
3. Considine Little Rock Center - date not set (Agreed but wants like $200)
4. Michigan United - date not set (Agreed in principle but haven't firmed it up) $100... Hopefully they'll help print some of the material.
5. Malik over by Brightmoore - hasn't responded.
Hoping to have them all locked in by Wednesday.
Wednesday we go with what we have.
The flyers should be designed by Friday so we can have them out that Monday, the 11th.
As far as the info for the meetings,
The literature for the meetings still needs to be ascertained/developed/acquired.
Jerry is going to help with some of that. MU can too, I believe.
Going to go over to the Clerks office this week and get the list of candidates, hopefully by Precinct. we will build a database of all elected positions in the state.
and we want it by precinct so we can correlate it to geographic data, so we can see the different ballot combinations down to the constituent level... give us an address and we'll know who is all on your ballot.
We will load that into a database with term ends for elections and other candidates for them, roles and responsibilities.
Issues and community comments will be culled for each.
And we'll grab the census demographic data down to the precinct level to overlay on top.
I will also be loading a questionairre plugin so we can poll our followers
and we'll put some of all the data online for the users to peruse.
This will be an ongoing thing past this election cycle. therefore, I've locked in the domain for 2 years, not just one.
Also, we'll be working on culling voter rolls -- some of that data won't be made available online (e.g. Personally Identifiable Information).
Remember, this is a NON-Partisan effort... :)
