Linux environment management

I've written an open source tool for managing your linux environment.  I've been putting off promoting it more until I polish it up, but it's currently in a "works for me" state and so I haven't been motivated to polish it up.  I really would like to get more people using it and improve it though, so I figure I'd better just publish it.  Here it is:
