I wasn't previous aware of Owasp, was looking at it today and it
looks quite interesting.

Well, I think you'll see some significant improvements in the months
ahead. The truth is that 80-90% of the effort put into FreeCC has
really just been code cleanup. Pretty much all the new features added
have been low-hanging fruit that came about as a result of all the
cleanup. So, I mean to say, the thing is reaching a state where there
is a lot of potential for interesting new features without too much
effort. So if you have any ideas for things you'd like to see, you
should definitely lay them out.
Anyway, I'm glad this work is proving useful to you.
