Publishing opportunity deadline 20.6.2009

Meuse Press is publishing an e-anthology of poetry tentatively titled "Guide
to Sydney Beaches², it will explore the essential qualities of our various
beaches and be placed on the Internet in such a way as to draw readership
that may not normally read our art form.

The anthology will not appear on paper & there will be no money in so no
payment out to contributors. You are invited to submit up to 3 poems.
Submissions should be in the body of the e-mail, single spaced Times New
Roman 12p & be accompanied by a 3 line bio. Your e-mail should indicate
which beach each poem concerns. Prior publication is no problem but you
should include acknowledgement. I am being generous in my definition of
Sydney from Terrigal to Thirroul.

A new web anthology saunters the sand with some of Australia’s leading
poets.
Guide to Sydney Beaches - http://sydneybeaches.tripod.com/guide.htm -
is aimed at an audience that may not normally access this artform. In
the process of seeking information on say, Bondi, people are
introduced to acute observations from joanne burns, Alan Jefferies,
jeltje, Brook Emery & Paula McKay. 20 great beaches, 30 fine poets. Of
course, Little Congwong is included.
This anthology is a Meuse Press project, edited by Les Wicks.
