Good Afternoon,

I'm very new to adding content to Freebase so please bear with me. I understand that Freebase is going to read only in a few days and I'm hoping to find a solution before that time. I've been trying to add notable type and I'm blocked from doing so, warning returned is User does not have permission on /people/person/notable_professions.. And I've added my Open Library ID several times and although it appears to save the information it mysteriously disappears.

Any tips would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

Grace

Notable types are algorithmically generated and are not editable.

Thanks John, any idea why the Open Library ID keeps mysteriously disappearing after I add and save it?

The OpenLibrary ID is here:

It should get combined with the URI template for OpenLibrary authors to create a Topic Equivalent Webpage entry here: https://www.freebase.com/m/012nfryb?props=&lang=en&filter=%2Fcommon%2Ftopic%2Ftopic_equivalent_webpage but I think that's a batch process (nightly?  less frequently?) and it doesn't seem to have happened yet.

Hi Tom,

Thank you for the information. Do you think it'll happen before Freebase goes to read-only?  I'm sure I've made mistakes in the way I entered the info (new to all this) but sadly, I don't think I'll have enough time to correct any errors.

I have no way of knowing.  I'm not affiliated with Freebase or Google.
