The cars are not easy to drive and the player feels like real driving. To move the handwheel you can use the mouse, this allows you to totally control the wheels moving them smoothly. There are a lot of kinds of cars. From simple cars to F1 High-Speed Cars. Another option is a Rally Race. Finally you can drive in an Autocross race. Live for Speed is a small development team dedicated to making the best racing simulation. Their current release is S2 with which we attempt to recreate the thrill and fun of real racing, by simulating all aspects important to racing. Varying racing environments and cars which can be setup by an abundance of options - all on your home pc. So what will you find in LFS S2? The DEMO allows you access to 3 cars and one racing environment that has both a road and a rallycross course. The cars available are a front wheel drive hatchback, one rear wheel driven road car and the Formula BMW, a single seater. These three cars make for a good all round impression. The FULL version adds five more racing environments, a big test area and 17 additional cars. The test area contains many configurations: a skid pad, a drag strip and an autocross area, plus an editor to create your own autocross tracks. LFS S2 is a serious racing simulator. No arcade modes, no steering aids - YOU have to do the driving. It is therefore highly recommended to drive the sim with a steering wheel, because even though you can use keyboard and/or mouse, a wheel is what you use in a real car, so a wheel should be used in a serious racing simulator. Especially when going online, where fast reactions are required. A serious simulator obviously requires a very good physics simulation to provide the thrill and fun of real racing. This is done by simulating all aspects that are important to racing. LFS S2 is the second step towards our vision of what the sim must become and already does a very good job in simulating real racing. Many racing aspects are covered - comprehensive setup possibilities, fuel usage, tyre wear, a lot of different surface types, intriguing racing environments, different car classes, etc. All these aspects make sure you have enough to practise with and spend time on learning the flow of the tracks. Additionally, don't forget to plan your pitstops - find out how much fuel your car uses on a track and how are your tyres behaving on any track, with your driving style. All aspects you will have to think about in real racing and as such you need to think about them in S2 as well. S2 is a significant improvement over S1; important features have been added. For example dynamic camber (improved simulation of suspension and different suspension types), highly detailed tyre physics and a damage model have been introduced. Also the additional content in S2 should be noted - where S1 mostly contains the 'medium' fast cars and tracks, S2 introduces several 'fast' classes (and 'slow'). |

The game features a three-dimensional game engine and individual modeling of game character behaviors. Like its original release Caesar in 1993, the game simulates city administration in historical Rome. Like its sibling release Children of the Nile in 2004, the game continues a new trend in the city building game genre to use more interactive and detailed game design and play. Gameplay: In a departure from older versions in the series, Caesar IV is equipped with variable, realistic 3D instead of fixed, isometric 3D. This means more realistic landscapes and city views, and the ability for players to better see and use game building space. In addition, buildings and roads may be placed at 45 degree angles to the playing grid, as well as aligned with the grid, allowing game players more options in creating efficient and visually appealing city layouts. Scenarios: The game is divided in 3 parts, named after the three traditional eras of Ancient Rome: Kingdom, Republic and Empire. The Kingdom part is only a tutorial. In the Republic and Empire parts one can choose between peaceful and military assignments. There are still five more scenarios that are sandboxes: Amida, Corduba, Cyrene, Djedu and Roma. The last is only available for people who pre-ordered the game directly from Tilted Mill Entertainment. In all these scenarios the rank that is used is Quaestor. The producers of the game included a demo which requires you to build a city that exports lumber and iron to Rome before the official release. There is also a level editor available for the game.
