I'd like to be able to clear all programs. Currently the only way is to run CLP on each loaded program which is very cumbersome. I realize the real 42S has no mechanism to clear all programs. So adding such a feature would be beyond the project scope.
I just wish there was an easy workaround.

I might have answered my own question. Using States allows me to save loaded programs or no programs at all.

There's also CLALL, in the CLEAR menu. It clears all programs, variables, directories, and menus.

I have COGO-42 programs loaded in my HP42s desktop version. I ran a traverse generating 46 coordinates. Is there a way to simply clear the point list?

I can't help with the COGO-42 programs, I've never used them myself. You could try contacting the author: there are a few posts by him in this old MoHPC Forum thread, and he mentions both COGO-42 and his email address. I don't know if the email address is still valid -- the thread is from quite a few years ago.
