I am trying to resize a Plus42 skin... the original is LandscapeRight.
The resized skin is LandscapeRightSmall... I resized the gif using Faststone Image Viewer, which retained the original aspect ration.  The resized gif looks fine.
then in LandscapeRightSmall.layout, I changed two lines:

Skin: 0,0,950,487
Display: 36,80 3 6 9EA48D 242A26

This specifies the new skin dimensions, and in Display: it positions the data display properly within the data window... I also changed x_magnification to 3 so it would fit in the data window...

However, there is some kind of graphic artifact in the window; I don't know where this came from?  I don't see anything on my computer display that looks like that.  Any idea what happened here??

It looks like a messed-up annunciator. Make sure you're scaling annunciator lines correctly.
