DLA and Attendance Allowance

Hello
I am a carer for a disabled relative, and read with horror that the
government are producing a green paper to abolish the two most important
benefits that sick and disabled people are entitled to. Not very long ago my
husband was able bodied and working, and I would not have bothered with a
request like the one I am posting here so I would ask you to please keep in
mind that fate can deal nasty blows completely out of the blue. Just to give
you an idea of the difference the DLA my husband receives the loss of this
benefit will mean a 36 percent loss of income overnight for us, and such a
loss is too much for any one to have to accept irrespective of the amounts
involved.
I respectfully ask that anybody reading this and agrees with my comments
sign the OFFICIAL Downing Street Petition advising the Prime Minister of the
hardship this draconian measure will cause. I have put the link for the
petition below, thank you for reading I am so angry and upset at what our
future may hold, having paid into the system for so many years, we now at
our time of need are to be left high and dry. PLEASE take a minute to sign
the petition if you agree, and remember that illness can hit any one of us
at any minute.
