Is there anyone in here from round the Lydney area, or even living in a
farming area, come to that?

I was mooching about in Google Earth this morning and looked at Lydney (I
lived there for a short time) regarding flooding, and if you look at the
land just north of the canal, and south of that bend in the A48 (round 51 N
43, 2 W 31) the farming land is all over what looks like random cricket
pitches.

Does anybody have any idea what these are? They look too organised to be a
group of dirt riders out on a spree but too random to be someone say,
ploughing in straight lines??

If I wasn't stuck up here in the West Midlands I would jolly-well go off and
see for myself but would I be any the wiser when I got there?
