When I started my working from home business I had an accountant who told me
to claim a 'rent' for my business use of the house (I use a spare bedroom in
a 3 bed house) and that should reasonably be 20% of my mortgage.
I have now paid off my mortgage so what yard stick should I now use? or can
I no longer claim a 'rent' as I do not have the mortgage as a cost?
