Does no-one care about privacy in the UK? With all of the proposed
limits on freedom and privacy I would have expected these groups to be
overflowing with people objecting. Where are you all?

I don't think they care. How often do you hear someone say that "I don't
mind if ID cards are introduced, I have nothing to hide".
