it was xmas eve at about 7.30pm we had her for about two years her name
was chub chub, i called her chummy.
she would always jump over the fence when i came home and meow like mad
but now when i come home there's no sign of her.

Chummy died very quick no suffering at all, i suppose that's a saving
grace, chummy would always be outside my bedroom door in the morning
waiting for breakfast before i let her out, sometimes she would sleep on
the bed and wake me up a bit too early, i give anything for that to
happen again. i look at the tree in the garden and see her up it, i look
at the wall by the side of my house and see her sitting there,
she would in the evenings come and jump up on the arm of the settee next
to me and just sit there.

I know its very early days but i miss her so much i am very sad at the
loss

i buried her in the garden on xmas day very sad time i can tell you.

we recently got a kitten who chummy mothered they got on very well
together, it was funny to watch them chasing each other around the house
and in and out the garden, and sleeping together,

now chummy is not around the kitten seams lost she knows something is
wrong she misses her as well

i have some photo's on the computer of chummy and tonight i showed one
to the kitten she went strait up to the screen and stared at it and then
moved forward and sniffed the screen she could see it was chummy very
sad.

I'm so sorry for you, I know what it's like, found one of my cats dead on
a neighbour's drive many years ago, no idea what killed him, no sign of
injury, maybe he just knew it was his time.

As it was for your poor girl, may she rest in peace knowing she was loved.

All the best

Ivor
