We have let one patch of grass in our front garden grow long for a few years
to encourage wildlife, (to the disapproval of neat neighbours), and been
rewarded for some summers with a happy cricket chirping sound. they're
brown, so I _think_ they're crickets.
Anyway, the grass has flopped over too much this winter - can we cut it
without disrupting any eggs hatching - or whatever.
What is the timing and life cycle of the cricket?
many thanks for any advice,
Lol
