Can any one help I have two problems one with the environment agency having
sold a boat with out the moorings. on the river cam last year and notified
the agencies involved that I was giving up my moorings and no longer owned
the boat, all well with in the allotted time, now the buyer would only give
his first name and his address as the boat, although I did keep his phone
number, but he will not return my calls or tex. The licensing authority
excepted this two months ago but now say they will not and that I am still
liable for the mooring as the boat is still on them, there are no log books
for boats like cars and they will not except a copy of the bill of sale?

Now if that is not bad enough the other day I got a parking ticket for
parking in a double yellow lines with one yellow band on the curb not seeing
any loading signs I like many others parked my car displayed my badge when I
came back there was a ticket on my screen as I was the only one out of five
cars I was peeved so when I got home I phoned that parking office, they told
me there was a loading restriction on that road I asked wear it was, they
told they had a picture of it with my car, so I went back to the paring
place and had a good look round, I found the missing sign an advertising
board was put in front of it, then I noticed that the yellow lines wear a
different colour, there was no arrow on the sign saying which way the
loading restriction was, and to top it all they hade changed the colour of
my nice beige car to a grey one, when I called back the officer just said
the inspector may have been colour blind but it doesn't matter you still
have to pay the fine. Can it get ant worse ?

Earlier this year here a parking section was
closed off for road works and the only indication
was a small sign the size & shape of the old one.
People were booked in droves but they formed a
group to lodge an objection. I paid the $140
fine.
Evidently they were successful and the council
actually refunded my fine about 2 months after the
event.

It may pay to lodge an objection, especially if
you can rake up some other victims to the event.
A typical complaint form; check with the relevant
council.
