Our client is a fast growing company at the forefront of creating software for Internet-enabled hard disk-based consumer electronics products.
It has also raised over £5million from investors for funds to develop its revolutionary new digital home entertainment system integrating TV/video, radio, the internet and music. They have built up from around 12 at the beginning of 2000 to a staff of over 50 now. Embedded Software Engineer (to £50k, depending on experience)
Must have excellent ‘C’ skills, and a minimum of 3 years experience developing embedded products with a real time operating system, and device drivers. Includes full life cycle development. Experience with Linux and products containing audio/video functionality would be a plus.
Role is to work as part of a small team developing low-level software and device drivers for custom hardware to provide an interface to the higher levels of the software, under the Linux platform.
