Help would be appreciated.

I need to remove and then subsequently replace, a sealed glazed unit from a
window without removal of the actual whole frame. The installer is Anglian
and the product is the usual white plastic.

Thanks in advance.

anyway this is how i did it it may be different but shouldn't be too far
different the white trimming near the glass(outside) should come out remove
the big pieces first using a thin flat object ie small screwdriver insert
this between the trimming and glass and gentle prise out remove all sections
some glass is held into place by security tape you need to use a thin sharp
object and to cut this(this is inside the frame u need to get at it from the
inside etc)have someone holding the glass etc so it doesn't fall through,
and go around the glass cutting the tape which is holding the glass in place
etc, once done remove.

once this is out remove all glass etc and cut any sealant around the
window-find the screws and remove lift window out frame should still be
intact.

A wallpaper scraper would be better, more lever-age :o)

One important point to remember is when you re-glaze the unit, make sure you
re-site the setting blocks on the frame platform.
The DGU sits on these, thus elevated from the platform (base) of the PVC-u
window and, in the event of any water penetration within the frame, the DGU
does not sit in water.
