Clamp to hold two trampoline poles together?

Not even sure what its called.

Basically consists of a U shaped bolt with a thread on each end. The
two poles go within the U and then a plate (with two holes for the
ends of the bolt) fits over the top. Wingnuts then screwed on tightly.

Any idea what this is called and where I can get from?

For something closer to home (assuming you're UK based, I don't think
bollox is particularly a leftpond term) look at aerial fittings, yes
pole-clamps or U-bolts are the things to look for.

They're used on car exhausts - try your local car spares shop, or
Halfords. Check the size of your poles before buying as they need to be
accurately sized.
