I have a Bosch heat pump tumble dryer. I followed the instructions to
fit the drain hose and plumb it into my under-sink waste pipe. The
condensate is going into the waste pipe - but now I've just noticed that
the condensation container has some water in it too, which wasn't there
before.

Is it normal for the condensation water to be discharged both into a
drain pipe and into the container? The book doesn't suggest this could
happen.

It is not normal for the condensation water to be discharged both into a drain pipe and into the container. This could indicate a clogged drain hose or a malfunction in the condensation collection system.

Here's what you can do to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check the drain hose for any blockages and clear them if necessary.
2. Make sure the drain hose is securely attached to the dryer and the waste pipe.
3. Verify that the waste pipe is not clogged.
4. If the issue persists, consult the manual or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Tools you will need:

+ Pliers or a wrench
+ A cloth or towel
