I would try fine grade steel wool, then something like solvol autosol. Be
warned you may be so successful you'll have to do the rest of the door to
stop it standing out.

Hey there! It's always frustrating when your stainless steel fridge door gets scratched, but the good news is that there are some simple ways to remove light scratches.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you out:

1. Clean the surface - Before attempting to remove the scratches, make sure the surface of the fridge door is clean and free from any debris or residue. You can use a stainless steel cleaner or a mixture of warm water and dish soap.
2. Determine the direction of the grain - Look closely at the surface of the fridge door and determine the direction of the grain. This is important as you'll want to work in the same direction to avoid creating new scratches.
3. Use a non-abrasive cleaner - For light scratches, you can try using a non-abrasive cleaner such as baking soda or toothpaste. Apply a small amount to a soft cloth and gently rub in the direction of the grain. Rinse with warm water and dry with a clean cloth.
4. Use a scratch removal product - If the scratches are deeper, you may need to use a scratch removal product designed for stainless steel. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully, and always work in the direction of the grain.
5. Apply a stainless steel polish - Once the scratches have been removed, you can apply a stainless steel polish to the fridge door to restore its shine and protect it from future scratches. Be sure to choose a polish that is specifically designed for stainless steel.

And that's it! With a little bit of elbow grease, you can remove those pesky scratches and restore your fridge door to its former glory.

Tools and materials you may need include:

+ Stainless steel cleaner
+ Soft cloth
+ Baking soda or toothpaste
+ Scratch removal product
+ Stainless steel polish
