I have the folowing problem with this boiler. It was installed as a
pressurised system
The red light is on permanent (not flashing) when we switch the boiler on.
Initially the green and red lights go on together, then to red only.
Every time we press the reset, it immediately goes to red.
The temp on the boiler is set to max
The timer (Landis & Gyr RWB200) is set to constant for both CH & HW
There appears to be no sound from the pump (Grundfos)
The room stat (Honeywell) is also set to max.
The temp guage on the hot water cylinder is also set to max.
Prior to the above event happening, we were constantly resetting the system
(at least 3 times a day) over the past few weeks.
Any ideas would be helpful. As the boiler is out of warranty.

Try these out when all the pipes are cold.
you could get hold of a manual and go through the flow chart.

Had a CH engineer come out to give the Suprima a check.
It was the circuit board that needed replacing ( there was scorch marks on
both sides of the board)
The engineer commented that this is a quite common problem with this make
and that he's lost count as to the no of boards he's changed. Did say
however that I had good use out of the board
(it was dated 06/1998).
Cost for New replacement board £145 + vat,
BE WARNED !!

lights on if so the wiring is wrong>>
Interesting point as there is no red light when the timer is off. The
engineer noticed that as well and commented that the wiring is wrong ,
probably No "permanent live". He was not permited by his company to sort out
electrics, so no joy on this subject at this moment.
So question.
Having very basic electrical knowledge, what is the "permanent live" and how
do I discover which cable it should be?
