easy way of working out how much boxs of L/flooring

hi guys not great with maths so is there an easy way to calculate how many
boxs of laminate flooring for a room i have in the past just said i need x
amount of boxs some time this is not enough other times it is over i would
like to calculate it so as to work out cost of diffrent priced flooring hope
you know wot i mean

work this out. All you need is the floor surface area. It also depends on
the size of the laminate (I found 3 different sizes in Homebase). Don't
forget a decent foam or cork underlay and the tools....
Look on the net and see if you find any laminate you like, ring the shop and
give them the floor dimensions. Far quicker. Saved me a few hours having to
drag the missus, kids, paper, calculator and headache. I went to the pub
instead.
