Anyone know of architectural salvage yards
in the South Bucks/Slough/Reading areas?
I am not looking for anything specific rather
I'd like to browse around & see what projects
come to mind ....
Many thanks.

Giles's at Stokenchurch is massive. Come off the M40 at J5 and it's 100 yards
on the left going towards Ibstone.

Klaus,

Have you looked through salvoweb? www.salvo.co.uk, I think.

There are quite a few in the area from memory - was looking for some
reclaimed floorboards a while back & stumbled upon it. I found one near
to Farnham eventually, but there was one in High Wickham as well, can't
remember the names. There's also one in Trumpeter's Way, Ealing that I
visited - loads of reclaimed floorboards but a little pricey and the
stock's pretty rough - pretty much stored as salvaged. Miscellaneous
bits & pieces of ironwork.

Cheers

Richard

Thanks for the hint - this is nearest to me.
The one mentioned in Uxbridge is an Antique shop - very pricey.
Thanks all.
