Can anyone please tell me what angles I need to cut in coving for a 90
degree corner. I have tried 45 and 22.5 but they are nowhere near. The size
of the coving is 135mm. p.s thanks for the decking help.

He he, 45 is correct but remember you have to cut it at 45 as if you were
looking at it straight up the wall at it or as you would see it in plan
view.

The best thing for some-one struggling with understanding this one is to
buy a cheap plastic cutting template from B&Q or similar. When you finally
cut the 45 in the right way all will become clear

cheers
Bob

It's not the angle that is the problem, it's the angle you hold the saw when
you cut it. You should hold the saw at an angle of 30degrees if you cutting
free hand. If you are using plaster coving you can make any indifference
with the filler.

45 is correct.

But you must remember that this assumes the coving will be equally fixed
down the wall and along the ceiling. If you are fitting with more cove on
either wall or ceiling, then the 45 angle will appear out.

If your walls and ceilings are anything like mine and far from perpendicular
you`ll never get it spot on. Filler is a wonderful thing!
