Has anyone there painted light switches and sockets to match kitchen tiles?
If so, was it a success and what primer/paint/varnish did you use?

I've painted light switches but not to match kitchen tiles .... did it to
match the radiator I spray painted.
I used spray paint (loads of news paper and masking tape) - three coats with
a 24 hour gap between and has been okay for me.
I'm guessing the thicker the paint the more likely it'll make the switch
stick.

Thanks for your reply Zizz. I'm glad to know that it's possible to paint
switches, and I plan to go ahead if I can get the spray paint to match the
tiles closely enough.

I used car bumper primer and car spray paint from halfords, been on 4 months
now and stlll looks ok

to get the best results though your better off taking the sockets and
switches appart first so you can get good coverage over all the parts
