Diesel Fuel Additives

Hi,

New to this group .. and living in Germany ... but being a Brit MUCH
easier to write in English.

What are opinions about FUEL additives? I have a new diesel engined
car (Renault 1.5Dci motor) and I am not sure whether fuel additives
are worth the money. Diesel fuels do seem to vary between outlets,
supermarket, branded garage, and the SHELL max power or whatever it is
called in the UK is BLOODY expensive .... So are fuel additives worth
it in the long run?? 9Also expensive) No problem with dirty injectors/
fuel lines just yet though.
