vectra headlight not working

Hi today one of the girls at work asked me to fit a new headlight bulb in
her vectra today, the one that was in had stopped working, anyway to cut to
the chase the new bulb made no difference, anyone got an idea where I go
from here.

Fuse? left and right headlight circuits are normally separately fused.
Sometimes the lights are controlled by relays - refer to owners handbook
for details.
Handbooks are normally on line if you have not got the paper one.
