Good afternoon all. Shocked when I turned the TV on at Middday, after
taking Bentley to the Vets for his snip, to learn about the terrible
attacks on London. All this after yesterday's great news that London
was to present the 2012 Olympics! What a sad world! :-(

Lot coinciding at once. G8 summit starting today too. Didn't the Met
send a load of officers to Gleneagles? I think Essex Police did.

It happens that Phil formulated :

An occurence like this would have been planned for for months, or even
years, Phil, so I am sure that there are enough emergency services on
hand to deal, especially as this was the opening of the G8 Summit.

Just been announced that 20% of the Essex Police have been sent to
London, so I am sure other surrounding Police Forces would have sent
aid too.

They seem to have accomplished what they probably set out to do,
whoever "they" are , and that was to bring London to a standstill.

According to the BBC World News, Arabs watching the Al Qaeda networks
are saying that it looks like them. :-(
