"This has seen us move to become the 5th largest airport in the UK and
outperform many airports of a similar size across Europe."

The real world being Glasgow Abbotsinch dropping to #8?

There's certainly not much outperformance going on at Passport Control
in Edinburgh Airport. I waited for my passport to be checked for
nearly half an hour, starting at 21.59 on Thursday 17th and ending at
22.26. During all that time one of the passport desks was unmanned and
at the front of the hall three men in suits and one woman in a police
uniform stood watching the arriving passengers but doing no work of
any kind. The queue of passengers stretched right back to the foot of
the escalators, leaving barely any space for the last arrivals to get
off the moving stairs at all.

Perhaps the airport manager should go back to his old job of eating
bananas at the zoo.

And perhaps you should stop dressing suspiciously Ken?

And perhaps you should practice what you preach and avoid the direct
personal abusive derogatory comments ?

I have it on good authority that there's also not much outperformance
going on in the private hire rank at Edinburgh Airport. A couple of
weeks ago the tank trap at the exit to the rank jammed in the raised
position, trapping the cars inside the rank for nearly an hour!

An hour less of fare-and-a-half charges for trips outside the city
boundary...
