Ymer,

Each ethnos in the region has its own mithology similar to the one you
posted, claiming that precisely it is the oldest and most civilised nation
in the world. But the recent events show very sadly who and where actualy we
all are. And dont think I am the ill-thinker to Albanian people, cause I'm
not. I hope soon we shall drop down all this useless boasting and start
living like normal people and normal neighbors.

Events In Macedonia Are Ruining Kosovo's Freedom

"Let us admit that it is not the first time that the Albanians are
destroying themselves. With their own hands, they shove the chance
offered to them. With their own acts, they destroy what was achieved
with such effort," says Ismail Kadare

The Albanians are, as it were, racists: they consider those who do not
share their moral customs amoral, as the
classic Greeks considered other peoples Barbarians.

His view is the view of:
1) the revisionist Albanians (and not only...)
2) the racists
3) the people who have not really a history and desperately need to "make"
one
4) the people who have grate problems in their country and need to give to
the hopeless citizens a cause to be proud for

Panem et circenses...

Typical racist rambling...

PS
Ask his opinion about Greece and Greeks and you will understand :-)))

Why is " Ismael Kadare " posting this to non-Albanian newsgroups ?

I note one of his groups is "free.shqip" , a fascist-like group advocating
Albanian expansion and ethnic cleansing .
