Creating wealth in times of hardship has always been reserved for the ultra rich and well connected
What we are experiencing in this troubled economy is exactly what we discussed four years ago, we are witnessing events that have never happened before in history, including and dating back to the Great Depression of the 1930s.
90% of all mortgage companies are out of business and real estate prices are spiraling downward at record rates. Foreclosures are now a very real possibility for millions, as lending from banks has essentially disappeared. The panic of Wall Street is spreading rapidly, and corporations are busy laying employees off at a pace we have not seen in over 25 years. Unfortunately this is just the beginning for most, as layoffs are expected to increase dramatically over the next 12-18 months, causing uncertainty to replace optimism for over 80% of the population.
The end result is that the vast majorities of people in North America was caught flat-footed and are in the worst shape possible, with seemingly few options now available to them.
