Am I to take it that:
Jeremiah 9:2
Oh, that I had in the desert a lodging place for travelers, so that I
might leave my people and go away from them; for they are all
adulterers, a crowd of unfaithful people.
Jeremiah 9:1-3 (in Context) Jeremiah 9 (Whole Chapter)
Hebrews 11:38
the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and
mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.
Hebrews 11:37-39 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)
the Hebrews passage may be reverse psychology. Jesus Christ of Nazareth
entered the desert and found himself not worthy. He took the hand of
the Fremen and the Fremen were to later exact a price, Jesus Christ of
Nazareth's crucifixion to save Jerusalem. Is this what you mean?
