HPD5400 wont print onto my dvds

Every time i try to print a dvd all i get is the error "The device cannot
print because the tray is open. Close the tray to continue printing. Press
the cancel button on the front of the printer to cancel the job."#
This happens both with Nero dvd & cover printer, and the Hewlet software. It
keeps telling me to close the cd/dvd tray! How can i close it when i need it
open to print a disc!
