This position is based in france and germany.

ROLE - Quality Director (Europe) - reporting to Chief Quality Officer,
dotted line to Regional Operations VP - responsible for managing the
customer and process quality across European sites, ensuring that all
quality programs are deployed and effective in their region.

direct accountability for deliverables of the corporate quality system
in region, and provides leadership in the development, implementation,
and maintenance of the company's quality assurance systems and
activities.
defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods,
processes, quality training, quality programs and the quality auditing
of the company's products, processes and services.
facilitates the development and application of advanced Quality
Assurance and Control methods and processes utilising methods,
theories, and research techniques to solve complex manufacturing,
supply chain, service, or engineering process problems.
develops financial measurement systems, which determine the success of
the Company's quality processes and recommends initiatives for
continued success.
deployment of corporate quality policies, auditing practices
plays a pivotal leadership role in promoting, executing, and
establishing the company's Quality and Regulatory strategies in
accordance with the established strategic plan.
provide strategic as well as tactical/day to day management to all the
sites in the region, in the areas of quality control, quality
assurance, validation, compliance, as well as play a key
cross-functional liaison role with Product Development, Sales,
Marketing, and Manufacturing, assuring compliance to applicable
regulations.
driving improvements in our measurement and analysis (metrics)
capabilities and associated processes, such that its assured that the
organization can objectively measure its progress as it works towards
continual improvements in product quality, customer experience,
innovation and operational excellence.
work closely with customers, senior management and key subject matter
experts in engineering, marketing, manufacturing, global services and
the field to ensure timely and effective communication around ongoing
process efforts as well as towards establishing and driving the quality
process improvement agenda broadly across functions.
work with senior management to manage the development and
implementation of quality systems, procedures, and methods throughout
the organization.
Detailed duties and responsibilities include the following:

Implements quality initiatives set out by Corporate Quality Systems
Director and Chief Quality Officer with regards to the overall Quality
direction and standards.
Communicatescustomer quality status, issues and strategies to Senior
Management.
Escalates issues to Senior Management as appropriate.
Analyses project successes, trends and pitfalls for process
improvements.
Provides direction to quality system staff in their regions for the
effective scheduling and task management.
Meet regularly with staff to facilitate communication and promote team
building.
Plans, schedules and implements team initiatives.
Evaluates team member skill set/level and recommend training required.
Conducts regular performance and compensation reviews.
Provides career guidance to QA staff.
Evaluates/improves process improvement methodologies employed by the
team.
Investigates new tools and technologies that may improve product
quality and department efficiency.
Collaborates with other Department Managers on projects, initiatives,
etc. to ensure that company objectives are met.
