Hey! A genuine tab!

The newsgroups file line MUST NOT have a line boundary in it. It's a
phrase made up of key words. The whole line SHOULD be 79 characters or
less.

It's still not a newgroup message unless the proper Control and Approved
headers are there. You MUST add those headers.

Control: newgroup free.world.socialism-will-save-us
Approved: [your email address]

The group you are proposing SHOULD be on the Newsgroups header.

Newsgroups: free.world.socialism-will-save-us

The control message, if in proper syntax, will not appear as an ordinary
Usenet article. You'll find it in

ftp ftp.isc.org
cd pub/usenet/control/free/[group.name].gz

Decompress with gunzip and read the file with a text editor or your Mail
client, as it's in mailbox format.

Noted, it's due to this unsophisticated mailer I'm using. I'll work around
