Why, oh why, do you keep up the inane chatter with the trolls in afn?
Do it in auk if you must play.

Anyhow, I might have a night off the booze, due to a sudden rush of blood
and some cans of BrewDogs Cake Cartel Stout last night.

I am not totally lacking in Clue. afn is a smoking crater and has
been for more than a decade. It isn't as though I'm a noob there,
I was there when RFN and SS were the best free servers. I was one
of the first to sign up with Motzarella before it became E-S.

Do you remember when Seamus MacRae fscked the froup?
That c*nt is still there now.

I don't doubt that, it's the persisting. But I guess leopards don't change
their shorts.

I'll leave the key on the string behind the door;
we're out for lunch today.

I'm not sure if that counts as dreadful service or an excellent one!
OK, no hanging about, I'm unoffically opening up.
Just me? Don't mind if I do.

Pull the lines through first if you're using the hand-pumps;
otherwise, serve on gravity straight from the cask (preferred,
oh yes indeedy, much preferred). Ullages go in the Mild.

Ah the good old days; slop trays and return lines!

I like a good mild, me.

Stuff yer bleedin sparklers (I call 'em 'frothometers').

The mild is usually the best pint in a pub. You're right
about sparklers -- the topers in my former local insisted
on tight sparklers to get a bit of froth on top. Never mind
that they knocked all the natural gas out of the beer and
once the froth had gone, your pint was as flat as a witch's tit.
