C5 2.2 HDi Exclusive. Bizarre computer fault

Hi all.

Following torrential rain the computer tells me that doors, windows,
bonnet are open, Sometimes says other random messages flickering on
and off.

It finally settles to just the Bonnet Open (always that).. This does
not affect anything except it prevents the locking mechanism working!

Neither CPR Rugby nor Citroen can clear the fault.

This is the bizarre bit. Sometimes putting the car through a car wash
will clear the fault (With much gurgling and swooching.) Sometimes it
just clears on its own.

Any ideas please?
