Radio Clandestine studio air checks

Timtron has started re-broadcasting air checks of Radio Clandestine, the classic free radio station of the 1980s, at various times on WBCQ's Area 51 on 5.110 MHz. These air checks are first generation and are played directly off the original reel to reel tapes.

The RC shows are currently being aired at 0000 Sundays, but may appear at various other times on the Area 51 schedule.

If conditions are not favorable for you, the shows are available on the internet at our shoutcast server on the splatterbox.

If you can't catch the shows live, I am placing them on our archive server. The shows are indexed according to the date that Tim aired them. The RC tapes were indexed using a simple system. The shows were numbered sequentially and there are two shows per reel. So, the first show on tape 32 was labeled "32A." There are about 34-35 tapes known to exist (although the last tape has only one side recorded). In the archive, I'll tag the tape with the show number if it's announced.

These classic shows are of the highest quality. Thanks to Tim for making them available to us.
