installation Free KiteSim Error:

Hey I've tried this command:

conda create -n freekitesim -c https://conda.binstar.org/ufechner -c https://conda.binstar.org/mutirri freekitesim

In a mac OS (after writing the previous commands)

I get the following error:

CondaHTTPError: HTTP 000 CONNECTION FAILED for url <https://conda.binstar.org/mutirri/noarch/repodata.json>
Elapsed: -

An HTTP error occurred when trying to retrieve this URL.



Would appreciate any help.

I am not aware of a successful installation of FreeKiteSim
on a Mac.

It should be possible, but I never had a Mac for testing,
so I could never solve the problems, involved.

Question: What do you need the repository:
"https://conda.binstar.org/mutirri" for?

It seems a systematic, cross-platform problem.
Accessing the json-files in the browser works.
Is it related to certificate verify failed?

I managed to solve this problem by substituting https for http. I think some certificate has expired and the https is no longer working.

Try this command:
conda create -n freekitesim -c http://conda.binstar.org/ufechner -c http://conda.binstar.org/mutirri freekitesim
