I'm attaching our boilerplate for grant proposals, which has our mission, vision, and so on.  I'm also attaching the IRS determination letter as proof of nonprofit status.

Also, I have a good line on a volunteer source, and potential sponsor. My wife's company, VMWare adds value by greening data centers and I think this would be a good fit. What's more, they're given 5 days a year to volunteer with pay, so I can let the employees know of the opportunity and we should draw in more than a few from there. MicroCenter is very close to their office too, bonus. 

What I could do if you guys approve, is approach their company with an opportunity to sponsor monitor recycling at, say $10 per monitor. We can do stickers with their logo to keep count, do a little signage for them ("free monitor recycling tickets courtesy of VMWare" or something), and maybe even get another amount for general sponsorship of FreeGeek. 

If you like the idea, can you please send me the information on FreeGeek that I'll need. Proof of non-profit status and an overview of what you do, how you do it, and why will be more than enough. I'll take it from there.

   Re-thinking the Sunday date for the Free Geek get-together, I'd rather hold it on a weekday evening since we can't do it on a Saturday.  I don't like to plan things for Sunday and I think a lot of people feel the same way.
