I see the most recent posts, here are from last year. Is there another source of Free Geek Boston info?

Last I knew, most of them reformed as http://www.rebooters.org/. freegeek portland (headquarters i believe) made some stink about not wanting more locations, so they couldn't keep the name. that was when I fell out of the loop. maybe someone else is still part of this group to give you better guidance.

Hi Aaron,
I'm checking in with the guy I worked with to organize this last year to see if his group is still active.  I'll post again when I get his response.

The mothership Free Geek in Portland let us know last year that they are no longer allowing new groups to form with the "Free Geek" name.  When we did this last year we tried starting a group with a new name which is why it is hard to find.  :-P

I am involved with the Free Geek in Providence which is active and has no naming issues.  We are currently moving to a new space so by late August/early September you would be welcome to drop in and see the new shiny.

Arron,
We started working on a group in Boston called Rebooters.   We had several recycling events, but we've not really been active since last summer.  I'd be more than happy to meet with you to discuss more.
