Im wondering is Mark Boyle still going strong?

I think the free economy is a great idea im wondering why it hasnt
gained more force behind it. the site seems.... hard to use... the
facebook is empty there are no real updates since 2010. here we are in
2012 and im curious to what kind of progress has been made. i recently
read " the moneyless man " and i loved it was inspired by it and want
to know what has become of Mark Boyle and others involved.

Hi Nick thanks for the enquiry - you're right outwardly things have
been quiet - but behind the scenes right now there's a lot of coding
going on to launch a revamped site (possibly in about a month).
This added functionality will include user accounts, saved searches
(and automatic notification whenever matches come up) - and the
ability to implement projects where by you can specify everything you
need for something you want to make or do. This last feature I think
will add alot of usefulness to the site - we are really aiming to make
a truly independent cashless free economy possible.
Things have been quiet mainly due to a busy work life on my part at
the moment (and for the last few years) - but hopefully when the new
version is out it will take off.
At the moment the site gets about 1 post every week or so. But when
the new version is out and through beta testing I will do alot more to
publicise it.
re Facebook some earlier changes we made on the main page stopped it
from working as a FB app - there are some other problems as well with
the FB page but we are likely to start a new FB page for it - and just
have it as a page, not an app (for the moment at least)
