The Pre-Australs Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Sharmila Parmanand and Jason Jarvis will be joining Pre-Australs as Chief Adjudicator (CA) and Deputy Chief Adjudicator (DCA) respectively. Sharmila Parmanand is a renowned national champion in the Philippine debate circuit and has served as the Chief Adjudicator of the 9th National Debate Championship in the Philippines. She also emerged as champion of the Asians Universities Debate Championship (AUDC) for three times, from 2005 to 2007, was a finalist in Australs 2005 and a semifinalist in Australs 2006 and an octofinalist in Worlds 2007. Jason Jarvis is the director of the Asian Debate Institute and has been a prominent adjudicator in the finals series of major international tournaments like Worlds, All Asians, AUDC and Australs. He has been the Chief Adjudicator of several tournaments including the 14th All Asian Debate Championship in Korea in 2007 and the Northeast Asian Open in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
On the other hand, in line with accommodations for Pre-Australs, we would like to remind you that June 12, 2008 is the deadline of full payment for accommodations package of participants who want to avail of the discounted rate at Fersal Inn and June 13, 2008 is the deadline of full payment for accommodations package of participants who want to stay at the University Hostel.
The other dates to remember are June 20, 2008 as the last day for submitting the pre-registration form and June 23, 2008 as the deadline for payment of registration fee and other accommodations packages.

Good luck with Pre-Australs this year - looks like you're putting together a great competition.
Would you be able to put the addresses of those you're sending to in the BCC line in future?
Some people get worried about having their email address broadcast to such a large group but for me it just about kills my PDA everyime I open an email because there's so many addresses to load!
